More Treats To Share

Hi Friends,
Thanksgiving is almost here, but as I promised in my last post, I would be back with my final Halloween treats.
Well, these past few weeks have been busy ones for me but happy ones as I also celebrated a birthday!
So....better late than never... here are my completed Halloween treats for 2013.....

HALLOWEEN 2013
The "Boo" cupcake and "Take One" box can be seen in my last post.

San Man's "Quaker 31" was stitched 2 over 2 for depth on 28ct white Monaco. I finished this with plaid backing fabric and a matching fabric wire hanger. Each little motif made this an enjoyable stitch.
QUAKER 31

"Jester Jack" from Cherry Wood Designs was stitched from a chart in JCS Halloween 2012 issue. I stitched him on 32 ct PTP Prank and added Halloween ribbons and matching colored pipe cleaners at the top and around his neck for a fun finish.  What do you think?

JESTER JACK

My final finish was "Bubble and Froth" from Mindi at Joie de Vivre. The "girls" were stitched on 32 ct PTP Tarnish and I added some glitz to give the piece a bit of color. The moon, cat's eyes and cauldron bubbles were stitched with metallic threads. I couldn't resist the metallic ricrac and sparkly button. Thank you, Mindi for a fun design.
The star fabric is actually purple but my camera "saw" blue instead!
FROTH AND BUBBLE
As I mentioned earlier, I celebrated my birthday on November 5th and it was a happy one.
I am blessed to have a wonderful family and great friends.
I was thrilled to receive this gift from Carol who is one of my dearest blogging friends. Everything she makes is a special treasure.
BIRTHDAY GIFTS FROM CAROL

I admired "Giving Thanks" on her blog and was so surprised when my gift arrived to know that one was stitched for ME~! It is stitched two over two on 40 ct. and perfectly finished. Aren't the colors lovely?
Beggars Night is a beautiful chart and I am thrilled that it will be a part of my Halloween 2014 stitching.
The small rusty bells will be great additions to my smalls for Christmas!
I LOVE my gifts, Carol and am grateful and blessed to call you my friend. Thank you for remembering me on my special day! xxxxx

Like many of you, I am also stitching PSS Mary's Sampler. Isn't it beautiful?  Since my name is Mary and it displays the true meaning of Christmas, I am more than happy to share in Paulette's special gift to us. Thank you, Paulette!

Thank you to everyone for your kind comments. I appreciate you taking time to write one. Welcome to my new followers, I'm glad you stopped by.

I am grateful that you are ALL here and will see you soon :)

HUGS AND STITCHES,
Mary
